Description

About Us

Mamma Mia Covers is a US-based DTC company serving the American and Canadian markets, and the exclusive distributor of the Italian brand PAULATO by GA.I.CO in the US and Canada.

Since 2018, we've built a recognizable brand in the slipcover category — patented product, sold through Shopify (our DTC website) and Amazon US, with Wayfair growing as our channel into Canada. Featured in Inc. 5000, team of 40+ people, own warehouses in the US.

We're actively expanding into new product categories, testing new ideas, and building the product team that will take us there.

Returns aren't just an operational metric — they affect profit and brand reputation across every channel we sell on. We're growing the team to take this on properly, with someone dedicated to solving it systematically.

The Role

This is an analytical, hands-on role at the intersection of product and data.

We needs someone who owns the problem end-to-end: digging into the real cause behind returns, building and testing hypotheses, and pushing confirmed fixes through to implementation.

What We Offer

Financial Stability:

$1,500–2,000/month depending on experience + quarterly bonus

Transparent, paid 2-month probation period

Flexible Work Format:

Remote, Full-time

Required overlap 12:00–18:00 Kyiv time (so we can move fast on live issues), flexible outside that window

Learning & Development:

Professional courses and certifications

Freedom to implement new tools and processes

Paid vacation:

21 days + extra days off for important personal events

Career Growth:

This is a new role, and where it goes next depends on you — either deep into returns as a niche expert (rare on the market, real specialist status), or broader into a full Product Manager scope with returns as a core KPI. Both paths are open.

What You'll Do

Root Cause Analysis

Deeply analyze the returns situation — independently trace the real cause behind returns for specific SKUs and categories, including your own competitor and market research

Optionally draw on data support from our Product Research Specialist — but you own the analysis start to finish

Hypothesis & Testing

Formulate hypotheses (for example: customers perceive a product's color as lighter/darker than shown, or a size chart doesn't match real expectations)

Test hypotheses through A/B testing of visuals, descriptions, and content variations

Implementation & Results

Present concrete change proposals to leadership for sign-off

Implement approved changes yourself, working alongside the R&D team

Track results after implementation

Report back with clear conclusions — what worked, what didn't, and the actual impact on return rate — and jointly assess next steps

What We're Looking For

Must have

Product Manager experience, Middle+ (2–3+ years)

Real, hands-on experience analyzing returns/reviews/complaints in e-commerce at the SKU level — not theoretical process knowledge, but a confirmed case with measurable positive impact: a specific returns problem you personally worked through, with a result you can point to

Experience with competitor research

Confident use of Helium10 or similar research tools

Experience with A/B testing platforms (PickFu or similar, Amazon Manage Your Experiments)

Confident with Google Sheets/Excel

English: Upper-Intermediate+

Nice to have

Experience testing visual or color perception (part of returns often comes from customers seeing a color lighter or darker than reality)

If this sounds like you

You're patient and detail-obsessed with numbers — comfortable with methodical, unglamorous data work

You're self-directed — you see what needs analyzing next without being told where to look

You communicate findings and proposals clearly and in a structured way, in writing and out loud

You stay focused on your own metric and don't get pulled into other people's tasks

Apply and tell us about a specific returns or product issue you diagnosed and fixed — what changed, and what the measurable result was. We review every application personally and get back within 3 business days.
