Using the site as a job seeker

Browsing and applying are free and need no account. Applications are not handled here: you are given the employer's own email address or application link and you contact them directly. We never receive your CV, because there is nowhere on this site to upload one.

Listings are provided as they were published. We check that a posting is a real tech role before publishing it, but we do not verify an employer's claims about pay, conditions or the role itself, and we are not a party to anything that follows.

Posting a job

• Posting is free. There is no fee, no card and no payment of any kind — so no card details are stored, because none are ever collected. If that ever changes, it will change here first and it will not apply to a posting already submitted.
• A posting goes live once a person has read it. The listing duration you chose starts at publication, not at submission — a queue should not cost you days.
• We may decline a posting that is not a technology role, is not a genuine vacancy, or is an agency listing dressed as a direct one. Nothing is owed either way.
• You must have the right to advertise the role and to publish the text you submit. Anything unlawful, discriminatory or misleading will be removed.
• Editing a live posting sends it back for review.

Aggregated listings

Some listings are collected from other public job boards. Each names its source and links to the original, and applying takes you there. If you are an employer or a board and want a listing removed, say so and it will be taken down — no explanation needed.

What data is collected

• If you create an employer account: your email address, your company name, and a password stored only as an Argon2id hash — the password itself is never stored and cannot be recovered from what is.
• If you contact us: the name, email and message you send.
• For everyone: a page-view record per listing, and a record when an apply link is followed. IP addresses are not stored — they are hashed with a secret salt so repeat visits can be told apart without the address being recoverable.

Nothing here is sold, and there are no advertising or remarketing trackers. Two third parties do receive data, because the site cannot work without them:

• Google Analytics counts visits. It sets cookies in your browser and sends page-usage data to Google, who process it on our behalf. It is used for traffic measurement only — no advertising features, no remarketing audiences, and no attempt to identify you. A browser extension or tracker blocker stops it, and nothing on this site breaks if you use one.
• A transactional email relay delivers verification and password-reset messages, so it necessarily sees the address it is delivering to.

Deleting your data

Ask and your account is deleted, along with your postings and any contact messages attached to it. Use the contact form; there is no waiting period and no retention of a "deleted" copy.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. We are not liable for a hiring decision, an application that goes unanswered, or the accuracy of a third-party listing. Posting is free, so there is no fee to refund; where a listing does not run for the duration chosen through a fault of ours, tell us and we will re-run it.
