Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities
Hands-On End-to-End Testing:
- Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies for complex data pipelines, databases, APIs and backend systems.
QA Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor and support a small team of QA Engineers while remaining actively involved in the team’s daily technical work.
Advanced Automation:
- Build, maintain and scale robust automation frameworks using Python, Java or TypeScript, with a strong focus on data validation and system integration.
Data Quality and Integrity:
- Use SQL and other tools to validate data accuracy, consistency and completeness across relational and non-relational databases.
Test Planning and Ownership:
- Define testing priorities, distribute tasks, review test coverage and ensure the team delivers high-quality results.
Defect Investigation:
- Investigate complex defects, perform root-cause analysis and work closely with developers and data engineers to resolve issues.
QA Processes and Best Practices:
- Establish and improve QA methodologies, testing standards, documentation and automation practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Data Engineers, Developers and Product Managers to identify risks, uncover edge cases and ensure seamless data flow.
