Description

We’re looking for a Middle DevOps to join a project in the financial domain, where infrastructure reliability, release quality, and operational stability directly impact business outcomes. In this role, you’ll work on deployment pipelines, Kubernetes-based environments, observability, and production support, helping development and QA teams deliver software safely, consistently, and with high quality.

Required for this role

Strong understanding of version control systems such as Git

Hands-on experience with automation scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python

Experience with artifact management tools such as Nexus or Artifactory

Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

Familiarity with Java, Python, or Node.js ecosystems, including build tools like Maven or Gradle

Experience with containerized environments using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, including Kustomize

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or IBM Cloud

Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor

Awareness of configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Your responsibilities

Design, review, and implement deployment pipelines in collaboration with offshore engineering teams

Partner with development and QA teams to integrate and maintain quality gates across delivery pipelines

Work with product teams to define SLI/SLO targets and implement monitoring and alerting as code

Provide Level 3 support for production incidents, troubleshooting complex infrastructure and release-related issues

Coordinate releases with multiple teams and perform post-deployment validation to ensure stable delivery

Improve release efficiency by introducing automation and reducing operational overhead in software delivery

Support SRE initiatives by participating in repair backlog reviews and helping reduce operational toil

Create infrastructure, architecture, release, and troubleshooting documentation for support teams

Participate in incident reviews, chaos engineering, and failover testing to improve system resilience
