Middle DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a responsible Middle DevOps Engineer to support the existing cloud infrastructure and services of our client on a part-time basis.

This role offers a flexible and asynchronous working format: there is a defined scope of DevOps and infrastructure-related tasks, and you can organize your working time independently. The expected workload is approximately 20 hours per week, although it may vary slightly depending on the current scope of tasks.

At the same time, the role involves responsibility for responding to critical technical incidents. If one of the services becomes unavailable or requires urgent attention, you should be able to investigate the issue and take action to restore normal operation, including when this happens outside your usual working hours.

What you will do

Support and maintain the existing infrastructure in AWS

Work with Docker and Kubernetes

Handle DevOps and infrastructure-related tasks within the agreed scope of work

Support the operation of three existing client services

Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related technical issues

Respond to critical incidents and service disruptions when urgent technical action is required

Help restore normal service operation in case of failures or other critical issues

Communicate in English regarding technical questions, tasks, and incidents

What we expect

Experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused engineering role

Hands-on experience with AWS

Strong practical experience with Docker

Experience working with Kubernetes

Good spoken English and the ability to communicate about technical topics

Ability to work independently and organize your time effectively

A responsible approach to task ownership and problem-solving

Ability to respond to critical production incidents when urgent technical attention is required
