Junior JavaScript + Java Engineer

We are looking for a Junior JavaScript + Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of a modern CRM system.

You will work across both frontend and backend, using JavaScript/React and Java, while gaining practical experience with APIs, data processing, third-party integrations, and real-world product development.

This role is a great opportunity for a junior developer who wants to strengthen their JavaScript skills while also developing a solid foundation in Java backend development and gradually grow into a full-stack engineer.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, React, and Java

Work with Java-based backend services and RESTful APIs

Implement and support frontend functionality using React

Integrate third-party services and APIs

Work with data parsing, transformation, and processing

Write clean, readable, and maintainable code

Debug issues and improve application performance

Work with JSON, HTTP, asynchronous operations, and data structures

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders in an Agile environment

Participate in code reviews and gradually take ownership of development tasks

Requirements

Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript

Basic understanding of React

Basic knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming

Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and client-server architecture

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and browser Developer Tools

Understanding of JSON, data structures, and asynchronous programming

Basic understanding of Java backend concepts and ability to work with existing Java code

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Ability to write or understand basic scripts for data parsing and transformation

Basic understanding of databases and SQL

Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

English: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to Have

Experience with Spring / Spring Boot

Experience with Node.js

Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases

Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools

Understanding of Maven or Gradle

Experience with Java-based backend systems

Any experience using or integrating AI-powered tools or services

Exposure to Agile / Scrum workflows

Experience working with third-party APIs or integrations
