QA Engineer

Client is Swiss multinational industrial company – is one of the world’s leading providers of elevators and escalators. It produces, installs, maintains and modernizes industrial equipment in many construction sites of their customers.

Requirements

At least 1+ year of experience in a Linux software testing environment or embedded testing experience

Solid experience in Firmware and Software testing

Understanding of security concepts (keys, certificates, authentication, encryption)

Ability to find the root cause for revealed defects using combined methods (logs, core dump, REST APIs, etc)

Experience in client-server model

Experience in test execution, bug reports, and other test documentation creation and maintenance

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing results.

English – (B2 level is a minimum, as we communicate in English)

Job responsibilities

Develop and maintain the required test documentation.

Develop and execute test cases and scripts to ensure that software products meet both engineering and product requirements.

Actively anticipate in planning meetings.

Generate test execution summary reports.

Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and other QA team members to produce high-quality products.

Support the prioritization of deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Work in the office with the hardware

Plan and execute integration and exploratory testing scenarios

Possibility to work without supervision
