We’re looking for a Python Engineer (Data Focus) to help build a greenfield transactional platform designed to support millions of concurrent users.
The platform processes financial transactions in real time, where data integrity, sub-second performance, and reliability are critical. You’ll build scalable data pipelines and work with large datasets, streaming systems, and modern data infrastructure.
What you’ll do:
Build and optimize Python-based data pipelines for batch and streaming processing.
Develop ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation solutions.
Work with large datasets, databases, and data lake/lakehouse architectures.
Improve data processing performance, quality, and reliability.
Collaborate with Backend, Data Engineering, and DevOps teams on a new data platform.
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of Python backend development experience.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines and processing large datasets.
Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing.
Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
Strong SQL, data modeling, and query optimization skills.
Understanding of ETL/ELT and data lake or data warehouse architectures.
Nice to have: AWS S3, Kafka, Debezium, Databricks, Iceberg, Delta Lake, Airflow, or Dagster.
