We’re looking for a Data Engineer to build scalable data infrastructure for a next-generation transactional platform designed to handle millions of concurrent users.
You’ll help build a greenfield lakehouse, develop reliable streaming and CDC pipelines, and ensure data quality, integrity, and performance at scale.
What you’ll do:
Build lakehouse architecture using Iceberg, Delta, or similar technologies.
Develop streaming and CDC pipelines with Kafka and Debezium.
Optimize data storage, partitioning, and query performance.
Implement data quality monitoring, governance, and data protection.
Support data migration and ensure reliable data processing.
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with AWS S3 or similar object storage and Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
Experience with Iceberg, Delta, or Hudi.
Knowledge of Kafka, CDC pipelines, and streaming data.
Strong SQL, data modeling, and Python skills.
Familiarity with Airflow, Dagster, and data governance practices.
Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Nice to have: Experience with financial or transactional data, regulated environments, or greenfield data platforms.
