About the Product & Team

Our client is an innovative, fast-growing tech startup developing a next-generation AI agent for autonomous browser and web workflow automation. The platform leverages modern LLMs to dynamically inspect web interfaces, generate resilient Playwright automation scripts, and execute complex, repetitive browser tasks for businesses across the US.

This is a new area within the scope of software engineering, but we believe the current positions will be suitable for Automation QA professionals.

You will be joining a lean, engineering-driven team where your work directly shapes the core AI product, solves real-world customer automation challenges, and drives the adoption of agentic AI systems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Forward Deployed Engineer to help international clients integrate, optimize, and scale this AI-driven browser automation agent. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of customer-facing technical integrations, prompt engineering, and script troubleshooting.

You will collaborate closely with the CTO to onboard new users, monitor agent execution, refine daily system prompts, and fine-tune generated automation scripts to ensure maximum reliability for end-user workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Integrations: Guide clients through workflow setups, analyze their business processes, and troubleshoot integration bottlenecks (transitioning from async ticket analysis to leading live customer calls).

AI Agent Optimization & Prompting: Daily monitoring of agent performance, identifying edge cases, and engineering/adjusting prompts to improve output accuracy.

Script & Locator Troubleshooting: Review, debug, and manually adjust agent-generated Playwright automation scripts when complex dynamic web elements or DOM changes occur.

Codebase Maintenance: Contribute to maintaining JavaScript-based core modules and supporting integration tools (~20–30% of total workload).

Feedback Loop: Act as the technical bridge between customer workflows and product development to drive platform improvements.

Requirements

Communication: C1 / Fluent English with confident verbal presentation skills and comfort leading live video calls with US/EU clients.

AI & LLM Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, practical prompt engineering, and AI tools for debugging and automating workflows.

Web Fundamentals: Solid understanding of the DOM tree, dynamic web elements, XPath, and CSS selectors.

Technical Skills: Practical ability to read, understand, and debug JavaScript / TypeScript code.

Time Flexibility: Ability to comfortably handle team and client calls during late afternoon/evening hours (up to 20:00–21:00 Kyiv time).

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with browser automation frameworks (Playwright).

Background in QA Automation, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support (Tier 3), or Technical Customer Success.

Familiarity with LLM function calling, structured outputs, or agentic workflows.

We OFFER:

Competitive compensation packages commensurate with your background and product portfolio.

Flexible, remote-first workflow optimized for seamless global alignment.
