Description

We’re looking for a Trainee DevOps Engineer to join a project in the financial domain, where infrastructure reliability, release quality, and operational stability directly impact business outcomes. In this role, you’ll work on deployment pipelines, Kubernetes-based environments, observability, and production support, helping development and QA teams deliver software safely, consistently, and with high quality. This position is ideal for candidates who have completed relevant training, internships, academic programs, or personal projects in DevOps and are eager to grow their expertise in a professional environment.

Required for this role

Good understanding of version control systems such as Git

Basic hands-on experience with automation scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python gained through personal, academic, or internship projects

Familiarity with artifact management concepts and tools such as Nexus or Artifactory

Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and exposure to tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

Understanding of software development fundamentals and familiarity with Java, Python, or Node.js ecosystems

Basic knowledge of containerization using Docker and understanding of Kubernetes concepts

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud through coursework, training, personal projects, or internships

Familiarity with monitoring and logging concepts and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor

Understanding of infrastructure automation and configuration management concepts; exposure to tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus

Upper-Intermediate English (B2) for effective communication with international teams

Strong motivation to learn, problem-solving mindset, communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Your responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and improving deployment pipelines under the guidance of experienced DevOps engineers

Collaborate with development and QA teams to support CI/CD processes and software delivery activities

Help monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools

Support troubleshooting of development, testing, and production environment issues

Participate in release activities and post-deployment validation to ensure successful software delivery

Contribute to automation initiatives aimed at improving development and operational efficiency

Assist with infrastructure and configuration management tasks across different environments

Create and maintain infrastructure, deployment, and troubleshooting documentation

Continuously learn DevOps best practices, cloud technologies, containerization, and automation tools while contributing to team initiatives
