Senior React/Next.js Developer

Clopos is a next-generation cloud-based POS solution for restaurant businesses.

Founded in Baku in 2018, the company currently serves almost 2000 restaurant businesses in various countries, including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and more. Our goal is to become a unicorn company as the leading POS solution in the Food & Beverage sector. We are looking for a Senior React/Next.js Developer with a strong background in TypeScript to join our team and help shape the future of our core products.

Requirements:

5+ years of front-end development experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with React

Proven experience with Next.js and its features like SSR, ISR, and API routes

Strong proficiency in TypeScript with deep understanding of types, interfaces, generics, and type safety

Solid understanding of modern front-end architectures and component design

Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design practices

Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API)

A strong eye for performance optimization and page load times

Good understanding of accessibility and SEO principles, especially in server-rendered apps

Experience with component libraries or design systems (e.g., Shadcn, Tailwind CSS)

Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills

Ability to work independently, propose improvements, and contribute to architectural decisions

Lead and contribute to the development of customer-facing applications using React and Next.js

Build and maintain scalable, reusable components and libraries

Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO of web applications

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to build high-quality products

Identify performance bottlenecks and propose practical solutions

Hiring Process:

Candidates who successfully complete the test will be contacted and invited to the next stage.

This stage includes a technical interview and a team-fit discussion.
