Description

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer / System Architect for a Vienna-based SaaS company on a mission to help organizations unleash their leadership potential — through digital feedback workflows, OKRs, mentoring, and people analytics that support managers at every level.

The Role

We're hiring a hands-on Full Stack System Architect to lead architecture for our enterprise AI SaaS platform — spanning Angular, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, cloud infrastructure, and AI/LLM integration. The product combines agentic AI workflows with precision AI tools for people analytics, leadership development, and performance management.

This is not a management role. Our six-person remote team (four full-time, spanning Austria and India) is close-knit, well-organized, and doesn't need another layer of hierarchy. We need a technical peer — a "shark in the pond" — senior enough to challenge, mentor, and upskill the team through hands-on delivery, not authority.

What You'll Do

Own system architecture for a scalable, enterprise-grade AI SaaS platform

Architect across the stack: Angular/TypeScript frontend, Python/Node.js backend

Design and ship AI/LLM integrations in production, including agentic workflows

Take direct ownership of project streams and sprints

Expand the team's use of AI-assisted tooling (we currently use Claude for coding and design)

Mentor and gently challenge the team, raising standards without disrupting trust

Manage infrastructure: cloud, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform

What We're Looking For

Proven scalable SaaS system architecture experience

Strong Angular + TypeScript and Python + Node.js expertise

Track record integrating AI/LLMs into production

Solid cloud, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform skills

Strong technical leadership with genuine hands-on delivery — a senior IC, not a manager

A collaborator who values cultural fit and trust, and can integrate into an established remote team rather than restructure it

Nice-to-have: HR-tech / people-analytics domain experience; experience mentoring engineers remotely

Practical Details

Full-time, flexible start 7:00–10:00 AM Vienna time

Fully remote — anywhere in Europe or safe zones in Ukraine

Full GDPR compliance, VPN and two-factor authentication required

Joining a 6-person engineering team led by a strong 26-year-old lead engineer

Equal opportunity — we welcome applicants of all genders and backgrounds; our engineering team is currently male-dominated and we're working to change that.
