About the Opportunity

WORKSHORE is looking for an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to join an international development team.

We are seeking a skilled iOS developer with strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, a solid understanding of mobile application architecture, and a commitment to building reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a collaborative, English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.

Build reusable, maintainable, and testable application components.

Implement new features and improve existing application functionality.

Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust mobile solutions.

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues.

Follow iOS development best practices and contribute to continuous improvements.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience in native iOS development.

Advanced proficiency in Swift.

Hands-on experience developing applications with SwiftUI.

Practical experience writing and maintaining Unit Tests.

Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns and software engineering principles.

Experience working with REST APIs and integrating backend services.

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.

Current location in Portugal, Spain, Latvia, or Lithuania.

Nice to Have

Experience with UIKit and hybrid UIKit/SwiftUI applications.

Knowledge of MVVM or other modern architectural patterns.

Experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.

Experience with UI testing and automated testing frameworks.

Understanding of mobile application performance optimization.
