Responsibilities:

Raise the standard of CI/CD across our repositories: shared GitHub Actions workflows, guardrails and tooling that make every team’s releases safe, repeatable and fast

Build and look after the on-demand environments our developers use to run the full platform

Improve monitoring, logging and alerting, and help resolve production issues

Keep the platform secure and compliant, including access control, backups and evidence for our security and quality assurance standards

Make infrastructure decisions with their running cost in mind

Work closely with our developers, and document what you build so others can run it

Take part in a shared on-call rota, roughly once every four to six weeks

Confident with Linux and scripting, ideally Python and Bash

CI/CD pipelines you have built and owned, ideally in GitHub Actions

A working grasp of networking: DNS, TLS, load balancing and routing

A methodical approach: you check and measure before you conclude, and you write down what you find

Comfortable using AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini in everyday engineering work

Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher

Experience with IaC and infrastructure platform development

Experience with audited or regulated environments and ISO standards

Nice to have:

Operational experience with container orchestration: Amazon ECS or an equivalent such as Kubernetes (EKS, OpenShift)
