Product Owner with AI prototyping and UX, US client

We are hiring a Product Owner who also owns UX and acceptance testing to embed long-term with our client, a US operations company that builds its own internal business apps on Replit. A full-stack developer from our team is already there.

Small apps, short sprints. Today, the founder holds the product in his head, writes the tickets, and checks the results himself. You take that over: the board, the prototypes, the testing, and the release call, so the apps feel like products, not admin panels. 15 to 20 hours a week to start, hours flexible with a daily overlap with the developer in Eastern Europe and the founder in the US Eastern time. Part-time to start, paid pro rata, full-time as more apps are added. Success test: within three weeks, the founder spends less time on the apps.

What you will do:

• Own the Jira board: backlog, sprints, tickets, acceptance criteria written before dev starts
• Build clickable prototypes with Replit, Claude or ChatGPT, no static mockups
• Test each release against your own criteria and decide when it ships
• Own the look and feel of every app
• Run the daily with the developer, write a one-page weekly report per app: shipped, next, blocked
• Own the roadmap per app and be the founder's thought partner on product

You should have:

• Jira board you ran for a shipped product, and you can show it
• Clickable prototype you built yourself with AI tools, ready to walk through on the call
• Habit of writing acceptance criteria and testing against them yourself
• Product design sense: flows, states, layouts, not only wireframes
• Fluent English, daily calls with a US founder
