Description

Product Owner

DrugCard · Lviv, hybrid format · Middle · Full-time

About the company

DrugCard is a SaaS platform for pharmacovigilance: medical literature monitoring, drug safety control, and work with pharmaceutical clients. We serve the EU and Ukrainian markets.

About the role

You report directly to the Chief Product Officer and are responsible for turning the CPO’s ideas into a product that PV specialists and clients actually use.

The CPO shapes the ideas and development plans. You conduct research, collect data from internal and external clients, prepare documentation, prepare tasks, hand them over to development, and monitor the results. Decisions that affect timelines, budget, or a global shift in priorities are agreed with the CPO.

About 60% of your time goes to backlog management and working with the development team. The rest is spent on research, analytics, AI initiatives, and client communication.

Key responsibilities

Lead new platform modules end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through release and go-to-market

Continuously improve the existing platform based on usage data, support tickets, and client feedback

Own the backlog: user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination with engineering

Build the roadmap and OKRs within the strategy set by the CPO

Design AI-powered platform capabilities (agents, skills, automation): define use cases, evaluation criteria, and rollout plans

Own product and user analytics: activation, retention, conversion, user behavior, and drop-off points

Formulate product hypotheses, define validation metrics, and run lightweight experiments

Analyze Zendesk tickets and turn recurring themes into backlog items

Keep the platform audit-ready: audit trails, traceability, and documentation that withstands client inspections and vendor audits

Coordinate source onboarding and Source QC

Take part in meetings with clients and PV specialists and gather feedback

Support go-to-market activities for new modules
