Description

Dinarys GmbH is looking for a Fractional Product Manager (Retention, CRO) to help improve user engagement, conversion, and retention for a digital health mobile application.

The product already has a broad set of features, including AI-powered capabilities, but users tend to drop off shortly after installation. We’re looking for a hands-on specialist who can analyze user behavior, identify where and why users drop off, build the right measurement framework, and systematically improve conversion and retention.

This is a fractional, hands-on role for someone who has actually built and optimized CRO/retention processes, analytics, dashboards, and experiments — not just provided strategic recommendations.

Candidate Business Value

You will help the product build a systematic, data-driven approach to conversion and retention, identify the main reasons for user drop-off, and turn these insights into measurable product improvements.

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing user behavior data and assess the quality, accuracy, and completeness of tracking.

Define the key conversion, engagement, and retention metrics and establish a clear measurement framework.

Build and maintain dashboards to track user behavior, conversion, retention, and trends over time.

Identify key drop-off points and conversion/retention bottlenecks across the user journey.

Develop and prioritize data-driven hypotheses for improving conversion and retention.

Design and run experiments with the product and development team and measure their impact.

Establish a repeatable CRO/retention optimization process based on continuous measurement and experimentation.

Translate findings into clear product recommendations and actionable tasks for the team.

Requirements:

Proven hands-on experience in CRO, conversion optimization, user engagement, or retention for digital products.

Strong track record of improving conversion and/or retention, supported by specific examples and measurable results.

Experience working with mobile apps and user funnels, including post-install user behavior.

Strong experience with product analytics, user behavior tracking, and building custom dashboards and reports.

Understanding of how to define, track, analyze, and forecast key product metrics over time.

Experience developing and validating hypotheses through A/B tests or other product experiments.

Ability to work hands-on with data and analytics rather than relying only on existing reports.

Experience working with product and engineering teams to implement tracking, experiments, and product improvements.

Strong analytical and structured thinking.
