Description

At UAI Labs, we’re building the next generation of intelligent automation — tools and solutions that help companies work smarter, faster, and more creatively. We take on the repetitive, manual, “why-is-this-still-done-like-this?” work so people can focus on skills that matter.

As a growing startup, we move fast, experiment often, and love turning ambitious ideas into real products. You’ll learn modern automation practices, work with emerging tech, and contribute to meaningful projects from day one. Here, curiosity is an advantage, and creativity is part of the job description.

If you want to grow quickly, solve real problems, and shape the future of automation, you’ll feel right at home.

Don’t meet 100% of the requirements? No problem. If you’re excited by what we’re building, let’s talk.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, analytical, and people-focused Business Analyst to join our delivery team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their processes, uncover bottlenecks, translate business needs into clear requirements, and support the design of automation and AI solutions.

You’ll play a key role in stitching together the business perspective, technical approach, and delivery roadmap, ensuring our solutions actually solve real problems.

Responsibilities

Run discovery workshops to understand current processes, pain points, and opportunities

Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes with clarity and structure

Translate business requirements into functional specifications for developers

Support prioritisation and help shape automation roadmaps

Gather and validate data required for business cases

Collaborate closely with developers during solution design

Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage

Create process-definition documents (PDDs), requirement specs, and user guides

Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment

Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methods and documentation standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

2-4 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, operations, or similar roles

Strong skills in mapping processes and identifying inefficiencies

Experience gathering and documenting requirements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Previous experience in consulting or working directly with clients

Comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data analysis, automation, RPA, Process Mining, or AI-led transformation projects

Understanding of basic technical concepts (APIs, data flows, system integrations)

Experience working with tools like Miro, Visio, Lucidchart, or process mining platforms

Exposure to software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum preferred)

Who You Are

A clear communicator who can simplify complexity

Curious, structured, and naturally analytical

Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical teams

Someone who loves solving problems and asking “why does it work like that?”

A team player who takes ownership and drives work forward
