Automation Engineer

Location: Sumgait, Absheron-Khizi

Job Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for production

processes

Program, configure, and provide technical support for PLC

systems (Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, etc.)

Develop, operate,

and maintain HMI and SCADA systems

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

sensors, relays, VFDs, servo systems, and other automation equipment

Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and electronic system

failures

Read, analyze, and apply electrical and automation

schematics

Install, test, and commission new equipment from an automation

perspective

Prepare and execute preventive maintenance

schedules

Optimize production processes and recommend improvements to

increase efficiency and reliability

Prepare technical documentation,

reports, and maintenance records

Ensure compliance with occupational

health, safety, and industrial safety regulations

Work closely with

engineers, technicians, and other technical staff

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related

field

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial

automation

Practical knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA

systems

Good understanding of industrial communication protocols such as

Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and

problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively in a team with a high

sense of responsibility

English language proficiency – minimum

Intermediate level

Advantages

Experience with automated production lines

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software

Experience in equipment commissioning and preventive maintenance
