About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Mobile Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. You will contribute to mobile solutions, support architectural decisions, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks

Build Store Capture and Transition Steering mobile solutions

Integrate and maintain the Scandit scanning library

Create modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose

Design and maintain robust state management and offline capabilities

Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with Kafka-based backend services

Ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, application performance, and release processes

Take a technical leadership role in Android-related topics and drive technical decisions

Support and mentor team members

Collaborate with Product Owners, Backend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile/Scrum environment

Requirements

8+ years of professional Android development experience

Strong expertise in Kotlin

Extensive hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose

Solid understanding of Coroutines, Flows, and asynchronous programming

Experience with Retrofit and/or Ktor

Strong knowledge of REST API integration and API-first architectures

Experience with unit and UI testing, including JUnit, Espresso, and Compose UI Testing

Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Understanding of event-driven architectures and integration patterns such as REST and Kafka

Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions

Previous experience as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer, including architectural guidance and technical mentoring

Nice to Have

Experience with modern web frontend development

Strong knowledge of Vue.js, TypeScript, and Node.js

UX/UI design experience

Experience developing responsive web applications
