Team Lead Python

We are looking for a Team Lead Python to join our team!

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• 1+ years as a Team Lead.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud environments.
• Understanding REST, experience with different protocols (especially http and gRPC))
• Experience with databases (MongoDB/PostgreSQL/MySQL/Redis) and messaging systems (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
• Strong engineering practices (code reviews, testing, clean code) and people management skills.

Will be plus:

• Experience with Grafana/LGTM, Datadog or similar observability tools.
• Experience with DORA metrics or engineering performance metrics.
• On-call experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of backend engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring and regular feedback.
• Own the team's technical delivery—from planning and estimation to releases and production support.
• Drive code quality, architecture decisions and continuous improvement of existing services.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders to ensure predictable delivery.
• Hire, onboard and develop engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
