Oracle Data Integration / BI Developer (ODI / OAS)

Areon Consulting is looking for an experienced Oracle Data Integration / BI Developer to join our team on a long-term basis.

You will work with Oracle technologies focused on data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and analytics, supporting enterprise-level solutions and large data environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data integration processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise data platforms

Develop and maintain data mappings, interfaces, packages and scenarios in ODI

Work with Oracle Database, including SQL, PL/SQL and complex data transformations

Support and develop reporting and analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

Develop and maintain analytical reports, dashboards and data models

Investigate and resolve data integration and reporting issues

Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for performance

Work with large volumes of data and complex data structures

Participate in data warehouse and BI solution development

Collaborate with business analysts, developers and other technical specialists

Support existing enterprise solutions and implement new functionality

Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience with Oracle technologies

Strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

Experience with ETL/ELT development and data integration

Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling

Experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or Oracle BI technologies

Experience working with complex data flows and large datasets

Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

Ability to understand and maintain existing enterprise solutions

English — Intermediate+

Would be a plus

Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse / DWH

Knowledge of Oracle Exadata

Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE / OAS)

Experience with ODI 12c

Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling

Experience with enterprise integrations and multiple data sources

Experience with Oracle Cloud technologies

Java or scripting knowledge
