Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET MAUI Developer to support the stabilization and further development of our End-to-End (E2E) Provisioning environment. Focus is on delivering high-quality software solutions, improving system stability, and supporting ongoing development activities within an agile environment.
Start: October 2026
Duration: 6 months (option of extension)
Workload: 100%
Location: remote
Language: english
We are building and stabilizing the mobile provisioning toolchain for a global IoT platform in the elevator industry. The platform enables field technicians across 35+ countries to commission, configure, and connect elevators to cloud-based remote services. You will join a cross-functional product team working to improve reliability, performance, and user experience of the mobile application layer.
Your Role
You are a MAUI specialist first, with solid backend skills when the situation requires it. Expect to spend ~70% of your time in the mobile layer and ~30% supporting backend integration work.
Mobile (Primary Focus)
› Own the App architecture, performance, and quality of the cross-platform mobile application built on .NET MAUI
› Drive UI/UX implementation for field-technician workflows
› Solve platform-specific issues across Android and iOS (rendering, lifecycle, permissions, device fragmentation)
› Implement and maintain a robust testing strategy for mobile: unit tests, UI tests, device-specific regression
› Optimize app startup time, memory footprint, and network resilience for field conditions Backend (Secondary Focus)
› Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices (C#/.NET) that serve the mobile layer
› Support Azure cloud-native services integration (Functions, Service Bus, App Configuration)
Required Qualifications
› 3+ years hands-on .NET MAUI development with at least one shipped production application on both Android and iOS
› Deep understanding of MAUI architecture: dependency injection, Shell navigation, handlers/renderers, platform-specific code
› Strong C#/.NET backend skills — you can build and maintain APIs
› Test-Driven Development as a working habit, not a buzzword: unit testing, integration testing, automated QA
› Practical experience with Azure (DevOps, Functions, or equivalent cloud-native services)
Nice to Have
› Background in industrial or field-service applications
› Experience with offline-first patterns, local storage, and sync mechanisms › Familiarity with feature flags, remote configuration, and phased rollouts
› Experience with AI and agentic workflows
› Participate in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and DevOps activities
› Experience MAUI/Xamarin.Forms-to-MAUI migration
Candidate Profile
› Senior-level professional (5+ years .NET ecosystem)
› Comfortable owning technical decisions in a small, autonomous team
› Communicates proactively — flags risks early, proposes solutions, not just problems
