About AIstats

AIstats is transforming the football data market by moving from 2D to 3D, powered by a cutting-edge Computer Vision and Machine Learning ecosystem that unlocks deep insights for both fans and professionals.

In 1.5 years, the Warsaw-based startup with Belarusian roots has grown from $0 to $3M ARR and secured over $2M in funding. As an AI-first startup, we’re looking for passionate builders who want to create something big and shape the future of football intelligence with us.

What we build

Advanced Football Analytics — a mobile app for football fans and bettors that reached 100k MAU in less than a year, featuring advanced statistics powered by our proprietary ML and Computer Vision technologies.

Advanced Analytics for Football Clubs — a next-generation analytics platform helping football clubs, scouts, and agents make smarter decisions both on the pitch and in the transfer market. Thanks to our early leadership in skeletal tracking data, AIstats secured several Tier-1 club partnerships within months of launching the platform.

Mission

Develop and evolve the mobile and web products, enabling the rapid delivery of product hypotheses while ensuring a high-quality user experience, technical stability, and scalability. Drive key product metrics through reliable and effective technical solutions.

Goals for the 3 months:

Collaborate with the team to deliver and launch the NFL and NBA functionality in AIstats, develop and release the web product to production.

Outcomes

First 3 monthsLaunch the NFL and NBA features with the team: both sports live in production on the agreed date, with no drop in quality of the existing football features.

Take full responsibility for one product area: you can estimate, build, review and fix problems there without help from the rest of the team.

By 6 monthsMake product ideas fast and cheap to test: new onboarding, paywall and pricing variants released behind remote settings, each with correct analytics, so the result of a test is clear.

Improve one agreed product metric (activation, subscription conversion or retention) through work in the app, and show which release caused the change.

Keep quality high as the app grows: crash free sessions at or above the agreed target on both platforms, plus a clear improvement in one performance metric (cold start, scrolling, or the heaviest data screens).

By 12 monthsBecome an owner of the client side: shared components and common patterns that the whole team uses, so a new sport or a new type of content can be added without rewriting a feature.

Improve code quality through reviews and tooling, and add automated tests where they prevent repeated bugs, so releases no longer depend on manual checks.

Requirements

At least 3 years of building production Flutter apps released on both the App Store and Google Play, with responsibility for releases, not only for separate tasks.

Good knowledge of Dart: null safety, generics, asynchronous code, and code generation for models and API clients instead of manual parsing.

Good understanding of how Flutter renders UI: custom painting, complex nested scrolling, animations and layout debugging. You can build a non standard design exactly as designed and keep it smooth on mid range devices.

Good understanding of app architecture: modular structure, dependency injection, clear separation of data access, declarative navigation, and one consistent approach to state management.

Experience with the usual parts of a mobile product: REST APIs, real time updates, push notifications, deep links, in app purchases and subscriptions, analytics, remote configuration and A/B tests.

Experience with data heavy apps: many screens are dense charts, tables and live statistics, so you should like turning large API responses into clear UI.

Ownership: you take a task from a design file and a product goal to a released and measured version, and you report problems in the design or the API early instead of working around them.

Communication in a fully remote, distributed team: clear written updates, useful code reviews, and direct work with backend, design and product.

Nice to have: sports or computer vision products, native widgets, CI/CD and release automation, performance profiling, and experience with an app localised for many markets.
