DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: Ukraine (remote), Poland (remote), Uzbekistan (Hybrid)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will design and implement innovative cloud service offerings, streamline development and deployment processes, and enhance system reliability and security. Your main tasks will include automating infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability for millions of users.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field

EDUCATION:

BS or MS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

Microsoft ecosystem & cloud platforms:

Microsoft Azure DevOps configuration, support and maintenance

Microsoft Azure Services (AI Services) configuration, support and maintenance

Microsoft Copilot Studio (agents deployment and configuration)

Ability to create and manage CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft low-code services (Power BI, Dynamics PO/ATS, Power Automate)

AWS services configuration, support and maintenance

CI/CD, DevOps tooling & AI-assisted development:

Experience in defining and building CI/CD processes, working with common CI/CD tools, including Jenkins configuration, support and maintenance

SonarQube configuration, support and maintenance (code quality/static analysis in CI/CD)

Secure SDLC practices integrated into CI/CD pipelines

AI tools and services integration in CI/CD pipelines

GitHub Copilot usage and configuration

Infrastructure, systems & general engineering practices:

Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools and cloud automation

Experience with container-based technologies (general containerization and orchestration experience)

Good understanding of networking and security concepts

Experience in Linux Systems Administration, scripting, and troubleshooting in a production environment

Web services/application configuration and deployment

Python programming language

Redmine configuration and maintenance

Proactive contribution to project needs

Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently

NICE TO HAVE:

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications)

Experience with microservices, serverless architecture

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana)

Knowledge in Jenkins, Groovy, CDK

Experience with scripting using languages as Python, Go , PowerShell, etc

A passion for everything performance, observability, availability, scalability, and security with experience owning and delivering projects using Agile methodologies

DUTIES:

Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation

Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)

Drive the design, implementation, and management for expanding observability infrastructure, keeping up to date with new technologies

Lead sustainable incident response, blameless postmortems, and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities

Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design, implement, and maintain multiple business offerings

Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices

Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

Manage and secure cloud-based environments (AWS)

Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform

Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines

Take part in periodical On-Call responsibilities, alongside your fellow team members

Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE
